How does it work?
The University issues cards to students which can be branded as required or even personalised.
Students register the card online, they can then add credit to their accounts via the sQuidcard website or by paying cash at a till point
The stored value on the card is used to make transactions, the user holds their card against the contactless reader by the till, the purse is read and the value is deducted
sQuidcard gives students a full breakdown of all their transactions online, which can also be downloaded if they wish to
Benefits
Time is saved in “cashing up” and ensuring money is secure.
Registered card holders can check their balance, view their transactions and top-up their cards online, making the sQuid website an invaluable tool for weekly budgeting.
Students can be safe in the knowledge that they can’t spend what they don’t have, sQuid is not a bank and users can’t run up debts on their card.
The students money is secure, if they lose their card it can be blocked and their credit reapplied to a new one.
